| Mr. Vibe enjoys scribbling love hearts all over random objects in his home town of Cork. Canvases are his most recent fixation. His unique cute and cuddly style that he can apply to letters and characters alike translates well to this new format and his range of bizarre creature paintings work just as well on a living room wall as they do on the roof tops around Ireland. |

For the inhabitants of the modern city scape urban exploration (UE) is the new frontier. From jeopardizing their personal safety climbing into crumbling asbestos filled asylums that closed in the 50’s to risking arrest by the authorities for trespassing in forgotten stations of the London underground, the urban explorers mission is simply to discover a new world in the forgotten and decaying parts of the old one. Site is one such explorer. His endless curiosity takes him from the top of building site cranes to the depths of central Europe’s Catacombs. Testament to his intrepid expeditions is his stunning photography all taken with expert composition and vivid color his photos of unseen skylines and forgotten worlds are as stunning as they are unique. Apeseven grew up in 80’s Sydney, skating and exploring the industrial areas of the lower northern beaches and consequently being exposed to a variety of skateboard and street art.
This led to his own experimentation with street art; however it was not until his two years of living and working in London that he was exposed to a new caliber of urban artworks. Initially the artistic method of stenciling he found particularly appealing. Stenciling was an accessible way of expressing his thoughts and ideas onto the urban landscape. Many of Apeseven’s works are held in private collections in Europe, USA and in his native Australia. |

own culture. I draw influence from the flyers of late seventies punk and early
eighties hardcore gigs. Also Skateboard graphics and B-movie horror posters
make an impact on my art and for me go hand in hand with the aesthetic of punk

"When it
comes to art I’m a complete obsessive. I often create a piece of work and
then try to understand myself through it. I mean I do what I do for a
reason, right? Despite the fact art has consumed me, I would not have it
any other way.
I love simplicity, that’s where the beauty is.
My work plays with symbols and space, abusing them like a russian
government official abuses the law. My stuff is a subverted hash of the
deluge of comics, signage, photomontage and graphics I submerge myself in.
Ultimately though, I just want to make people smile when they didn’t
